The Texas Legislature recently passed SB 1534 in June 2011 requiring certain out of state online colleges to post certain information on their websites. The new law excludes from regulation in Texas any career school or college institution that is: (1) an out-of-state accredited degree-granting institution, (2) duly regulated in another state, and (3) only offers distance education in Texas. Therefore, pursuant to SB 1534, please be advised that:
- ICDC College is not regulated in Texas under Chapter 132 of the Texas Education Code;
- ICDC College is physically located in the State of California and is regulated by the California Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) and is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).

A student or any member of the public may file a complaint about this institution with the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education by calling (888) 370-7589, or by completing a complaint form, which can be obtained on the Bureau’s website at www.bppe.ca.gov.
ACCSC
Schools accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (“ACCSC”) must have a procedure and operational plan for handling student complaints. If the online student does not feel that the school has adequately addressed a complaint or concern, the online student may consider requesting an ACCSC Complaint Form from the School’s Online Campus Director, either by email or by calling (877) 900-4232. All complaints considered by the Commission must be in written form, with permission from the complainant(s) for the Commission to forward a copy of the complaint to the School for a response. The complainant(s) will be kept informed as to the status of the complaint, as well as the final resolution by the Commission.
