Honored for Providing Educational Excellence
In its more than 15 years as a leading provider of career education programs, ICDC College has received several prestigious school awards that are a testament to the high-quality U.S. education we are committed to providing to our domestic and international students.
The driving energy behind the development and implementation of ICDC College’s programs comes from its founder, Anna Berger, CPA, who has over 18 years of experience in employment and business training.
As President and CEO, Ms. Berger had a vision to equip students with the fundamental “job-oriented” skills and knowledge necessary to become employable within businesses and medical industries, as well as government and nonprofit agencies. However over the past few years, ICDC College’s program offerings have expanded into other industries such as addiction counseling, security and paralegal studies, amongst many others.
ICDC College is accredited as an educational institution in the United States by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Among the many honors ICDC College has received for our career training and services is the ACCSC School of Distinction Award. The Van Nuys Branch Campus has been recognized by ACCSC as a 2002- 2003 School of Distinction. The Huntington Park Branch Campus has been recognized by ACCSC as a 2004- 2005 School of Distinction. The South Bay Branch Campus has been recognized by ACCSC as a 2006- 2007 School of Distinction. ACCSC has recognized the Los Angeles Main Campus as a 2009-2010 School of Distinction, and the Huntington Park Branch Campus as a 2009-2010 School of Distinction. This was the second such award for the Huntington Park Branch Campus. The ACCSC announced that ICDC College’s South Bay campus received the 2010-2011 ACCSC School of Excellence Award. The School of Excellence designation is the highest-level of achievement given to ACCSC-accredited institutions.
ICDC College is also the proud recipient of official Awards of Commendation from the U.S. Senate, House of Representatives, California Legislative Assembly, City of Los Angeles, and State of California.
Our 2010 graduates were thrilled to receive a letter of congratulations from President Barack Obama, who acknowledged their academic achievements and the hard work and dedication they had demonstrated during their career training at ICDC College.
